தாமரை பீடத்தில் 36 அங்குலம், அதாவது 3 அடி உயரமுள்ள மேல்மருவத்தூர் அம்மன் தன் வலது காலை மடக்கியும், இடது காலை ஊன்றியும் இருப்பதை காண்கிறோம்.
கருவறை அம்மன் இவ்வாறு அமர்ந்திருப்பதில் குறிப்பு என்னவென்றால், எல்லா உலகங்களிலும் அனைத்தையும் ஆளும் முதன்மை தத்துவம் பெற்றவள் ஆதிபராசக்தி.
அவள் இடக்காலை ஊன்றி, தாமரைப் போல் வைத்திருக்கும் கமல பாதத்தை நம் சிரம் தாழ்த்தி வணங்குவோம்.
