Everyday,
I brush my teeth to prevent tooth decay
I bathe to cleanse my body
I eat to nourish my body
I walk the dog for her daily exercise
I feed the goldfish in its tank
I water the garden for it to grow
I read the news to know world's affairs
So too everyday, Amma says that
I should meditate to know myself
I should pray to cleanse my mind of evil thoughts
I should ask Her for forgiveness for my sins, big and small
I should plead for wisdom to be always kind and do good to others
